This iconic German brand from Hamburg turned 100 years old and like every brand with a huge heritage needed a complete makeover. Actually a new bold step to reach their fans and
future consumer base– getting literally in touch with people in any new way possible. Inspired by Asian based personas, we held a successful brand workshop with relevant Beiersdorf Asian marketing leaders to infuse unique ideas for a new consumer centric platform.

The core idea transformed the existing digital platform Nivea.com into a truly mobile first user experience.

Nivea uses Motion UX to drive conversion and the smart companion as new navigation
The solution:
Under the program NIVEA X, this new consumer platform was rolled out for over 70+ countries. The platform design reflected the NIVEA brand mission of care by allowing content to breathe and feel more lighter to the eyes. The principle of organic skin was translated to the digital experience where the consumer literally got in touch with the brand. Introducing a unique mobile first navigator which was smart and conversational to guide and educate consumers about skincare holistically.


The international roll out was accompanied by Nivea X campaign to leverage the acceptance and awareness for the whole Beiersdorf organization, demonstrating the power of the new consumer experience by using Motion UX, smart UI and guiding principles to allow the consumers to explore the content and services in an engaging manner. NIVEA X: the next logical evolution of a skincare brand to get in touch with its consumers.
